the rivers of water, that brings forth

Joe Merolle
Joseph Merolle has a Bachelor of Science
degree in Health and Physical Education
from
Oral Roberts University and a Master
of Arts
degree in Counseling from Regent University.
He taught health and physical education
in
the New York City public school system
and
currently works as a public school
counselor
on Long Island.
As a competitive bodybuilder and a weightlifter
for 20 years, he is dedicated to finding
a pathway to assist athletes, in spite
of
their ages, in becoming more competitive
without the use of drugs. He has a
particular
interest in helping people overcome
obesity
and muscle atrophy and helping professional
athletes restore the muscle-growing
potential
and fat-burning ability they once knew
in
their early years of training. His
dedication
led to the development of the Breaking
Plateaus
Weight-training System with an emphasis
in
computer technology.
If you or your team is interested in being
trained by Joseph, or you're interested
in
consultation for your athlete's training
system, please contact him at joe@breakingplateaus.com

1) What's your favorite Scripture?
My favorite scripture is Matthew
11:12, “From
the days of John the Baptist
until now, the
kingdom of heaven has been forcefully
advancing,
and forceful men lay hold of
it.”
2)Who were your childhood heroes?
The Incredible Hulk was my childhood
hero.
3)If you could meet anyone from the Bible,
who would it be and why? You
can't say Jesus,
we all want to and we prayerfully
will one
day!
The archangel Gabriel; we read
so much about
the people in the Bible, but
not much about
the power and responsibility
of the angels.
I wonder why they were given
so much power.
4)What is a typical day in your life like?
I’m a guidance counselor during
the day.
I’m dedicated to helping students
get where
they need to go. The rest of
the day, I dedicate
to my family and training.
5)What Biblical figure do you most identify
with & why?
I most identify with the apostle
Paul. He
had a mission to save people,
and that is
my mission.
6)What trait do you like most about yourself?
I most like that I don’t give
up easily.
I see tasks through to completion.
7)What trait do you least like about yourself?
I don’t like that I’m an all-or-nothing type
of person. I can be obsessive
compulsive.
8)How have you been able to represent God
in your sport?
I included a salvation piece
in my book.
I also wanted to reinforce the
scientific
evidence behind Christianity
for those who
have difficulty believing. I
dedicated a
chapter to Christianity and scientific
research.
9)If you could change one thing in your sport,
what would it be?
I would change the influence
of sex in bodybuilding.
Also, I would like to see more
humility in
the sport. There seems to be
an air of arrogance.
I’d like to change that stereotype.
10)If you were to die today and go to heaven,
what would you like to hear God
say?
Welcome. You represented me well.
