IT'S NEVER TOO LATE
Greetings all! Well, it seems
2006 is well
under way. Getting your taxes
all ready to
ship out? Don't wait until the
last minute;
don't want to get hit with those
late fees!
Some people just skip the whole
process and
go years and years without filing!
Don't
do that! Even if you missed a
year, go back
and file it, it's never too late!
Many people reach a certain age
where they
begin the lists of "woulda,
shoulda,
and coulda, if only I’d have..."
Don't
let that be you when it comes
to a healthier
lifestyle. It is never too late
to start!
If you didn't hear me I'll say
it a little
louder. IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO
START! There
are countless studies that have
been done
concerning exercising and the
elderly. Increase
in energy, an increase muscle
mass and reported
increases in bone density (a
plus for women),
just to name a few. Now I'm not
saying any
of you are elderly, but don't
let your age
be a reason you don't begin an
exercise program!
One of my fellow coworkers (age
40) began
an exercise program recently
and he can't
stop talking about all the energy
he has.
He is borderline diabetic and
has even better
control over his blood sugar
levels with
a more sound-eating program added
to his
fitness regimen. He thought he
was being
kidded when he was told that
exercising would
give him more energy. Now he's
a believer
and he's off and running, telling
others!
A close friend of mine (age 45)
picked up
weights for the first time in
his life this
past year and cannot believe
how he has benefited.
Exercising and proper diet can
lower blood
pressure, cholesterol levels,
aid in better
sleep, and boost energy levels
just to name
a few of the benefits! You don't
have to
be twenty or twenty-five and
a "hard
body" to exercise and benefit
from the
results. Every age can reap benefits
from
fitness related activities combined
with
a healthier eating lifestyle.
So let me ask
you. What's your excuse NOT to
work out?
PLEASE, I don't want to hear
that it's too
late. IT'S NEVER TOO LATE!
Did you know that with your dying breath,
if you ask Jesus to come into
your life and
be your personal Savior and mean
with your
heart that you are born again?
Talk about
waiting until the last minute!
Talk about
waiting until it’s almost too
late! Well
it can get to be too late, you
know. You
may not be saved and just walking
down the
street happy as a clam and BANG!
MASSIVE
HEART ATTACK! Dead before you
hit the ground
and your soul on a one way trip
spiraling
downward. I know, this sounds
pretty harsh,
but it’s the truth and when it
comes to saving
souls, why beat around the bush?
You may
live to be 100 and die slowly
with the opportunity
to truly reflect on your life
and realizing
that you blew it and want, desire,
and need
salvation, you want to be set
free and you
then ask Jesus into your life.
(Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed
Him, "If you abide in My
word, you are
My disciples indeed. And you
shall know the
truth, and the truth shall make
you free."
John 8:31-32) My question is this, WHY WAIT UNTIL THE
LAST MINUTE? Start now! Ask Him
into your
life, let go and let Jesus! You
will not
be sorry. Let God into your life
because
He is the Great Comforter, the
Great I AM,
Our Father, Our Daddy! His arms
await you,
to gather you in and hold you
close. His
Son, who died for us, has given
us access,
the ONLY way in, by dying on
the cross, taking
the sins of the world upon Himself
so that
we may have covenant with His
Father. (Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the
truth, and the life. No one comes
to the
Father except through Me."
John 14:
6) Consider this as well if you think that
God doesn’t love you or He is
mean, as some
are known to claim. He sent His
ONLY son
to earth to die for the sins
of all men,
not just one or two but for all
men including
all of those who weren’t even
born yet (For God so loved the world that He gave His
only begotten Son, that whoever
believes
in Him should not perish but
have everlasting
life. John 3:16). You see friends, Jesus has died for us.
He has already paid the price
of admission
for us to enter heaven. The only
thing we
have to do is ask and believe.
("That if you confess with your mouth,
"Jesus is Lord," and
believe in
your heart that God raised Him
from the dead,
you will be saved. For it is
with your heart
that you believe and are justified,
and it
is with your mouth that you confess
and are
saved." Romans 10: 9-10) If you haven’t accepted Jesus as your Lord
and Savior or if you know of
someone, visit
this link http://www.midwestchristianbodybuilding.com/optiona.htm on our site. Don’t wait until it is too
late! Don’t let option b become your final destination!
And now our prayer. Father We
pray for guidance
in helping those who are searching.
Help
us to become better spokespeople
for you.
Give us the strength and courage
and boldness
to witness to others, to share
the joy, to
share the Good News! We ask this
in Jesus’
name. Amen.
Now go with God and lift that
iron!
