Pollo Del Mar (chicken of the sea)
This month we are featuring a quick weight loss/cleansing type of eating. You really don’t need to adhere to it forever, but as a quick 3 - 14 day plan, it can work wonders. Highly recommended by Dave Draper and practiced by yours truly and his lovely wife. We can attest here that it does work. What is this magical and mystical plan? My funny Valentine calls it her Pollo Del Mar diet, which translates to Chicken of the Sea. Pollo Del Mar sounds fancy doesn’t it?

Oh boy, I can hear you all now! Groan! Gag! Yuch! TUNA?! I know, it’s winter and we still have time to keep the winter coat on. That’s OK, file this away for later. You’ll thank me then! Depending on your caloric needs, you will eat between 3 and 6 cans a day. You’ll eat every 2-3 hours, with tuna being 3 meals and skim milk with whey protein as the other 2-3 meals for a total of 5-6 meals a day. Drink plenty of water as well! For the high end, you’ll be taking in over 200+ grams of protein so do not fear protein loss. It is the carbs taking the hit here. Sounds very Atkins diet, I know, but remember, bodybuilders thought of it first! Give it a shot! What have you got to lose? A few pounds? I know, that was an easy one!
